Hi all.

For those of us who grew up in Canberra (in the 1960s) that westerly slope above what is now Erindale Drive was always a known nesting site for Wedgies. I am aware of an old eyrie in a large Scribbly Gum (or Brittle Gum) which is probably in excess of 30 years old, in roughly the area which Phillip has described. I have no idea if it has been used since that road was cut through the hillside there (probably back in the mid-1980s).
Highly unlikely to be active, I would think, but "never say never".

Cheers
