I wonder whether others know about this, in particular the history of when it was last used. I must have driven past there often but not seen it before. Then for no particular reason I suddenly noticed it last week. It looks from the distance like it is an old nest but quite obvious from the road.
 
About 200 metres after turning left off Long Gully Road onto Erindale, stop (best to pull off the road) on Erindale Drive just before the sign that says Wanniassa Hill Canberra Nature Park. Just below and behind the power lines on the left. An old Wedge-tailed Eagle eyrie.
