I can vouch for Bintel near Piermont Bridge
Wentworth Park in Sydney. http://www.sydneyatoz.com.au/shop_bintel_binocular_and_telescope.asp
I bought my new bins & scope from them. They had a very good range of
binoculars. There is a lot of info on their website. Ring beforehand to check
they have the bins you might be interested in. I bought the Bushnell's 10 x 40
something ( but money was an object for me, also the upset factor if the
bins are lost or broken). The more expensive bins were better but I
am very happy with mine. I bought my scope at the same time.
John insisted on going to the shop rather than
getting a mail order as it was a major purchase for me. He was right. He checked
the bins by looking at a place in the shade in the distance and looking at the
definition. It was a very worthy test.
Sue Lashko put me onto the shop and gave me a good
idea of what to buy.
