I was up there on Wednesday and saw a female cicadabird
making a call not unlike a brush cuckoo. There were also several other birds
(males(?)) calling in the "cicada style". The female was quite active about 150m
up from the Blundell's Creek Road junction.
Also saw Red-browed Treecreeper, Eastern Whipbird, Crested
Shrike-tit, etc
