Spent the morning on Warks Road, most of it approx 1km south of the
Blundell's Rd intersection. Was joined by two COG members (David and
Jeannie, terrible with names, sorry?) for a while, and we were lucky enough to see
close up views of a male Cicadabird nest building some 15-20m up in the
fork of a dead eucalypt. See this url for picture, note spider web on

No female was sighted in a couple of hours? Other
species included Red-browed Treecreeper, Satin Bowerbird, Rufous
Fantail, White-naped HE (feeding young), Eastern Whipbird, Golden
