Common Koel in Barton

One male calling in Barton near the intersection of Brisbane Avenue and
National Circuit last night (Friday) at around 9:50pm. It stayed for
about five minutes before moving on; I couldn't determine in which
direction as I only heard one or two calls as they faded in the
distance.

The call was the usual two-note groupings, but as separate pairs set
quite apart from each other rather than the usual accelerating,
increasing pitch paired-note call. A casual night call, perhaps?
