Hello.
 
Just came back from a nice three hour birding trip at Kelly's
 
Saw the 2 Frecklies which spent the entire time...sleeping. Many thanks for the guy who let me look through the scope (I was the last one), a new bird for me. :)
The stars of the day were, however, for me the Black-winged Stilts and Glossy Ibis that decided to be very close to the hides for once. Had  great long views of both. Additionaly a Black-shouldered Kite and an Austr. Hobby allowed a very close aproach. Much breeding going on as well with Reed Warblers nest building, 4 different P.B Duck broods (6-12 young each), 4 Purple Swamphen broods (4-5) and the Chestnut Teal Family. The Barwit was no where to be found...
