Freckled Ducks tend to be lazy ducks, at least in the daytime (and I don't know about them at night). Chris Davey taught me that. He says if you see a mixed flock of ducks fly off, we tend to automatically look at the ones flying. If you expect there are Freckled Ducks among them and want to see them, then look at the ducks that did not fly away.
