No sign of the Painted Snipe this morning between 5:45am and 7:20am,
though plenty of bleary eyes looking for it...
Spotless and Spotted Crakes were present either side of the "gate"
(one and probably two birds respectively.)
An Intermediate Egret with nuptial plumes was also present; this
would appear to be a new arrival, unless it was ignored/overlooked
by the snipers yesterday.
