WBWS (350) and Masked WS (10) arrived with westerly wind at coast (Ulladulla area) on Wed 4th . Mostly very high and vocal. Were seen also on 5-6th Oct. Maybe they time this journey to exploit the Bogong Moths as well as getting a good tail wind. Did any one see bogongs up high or woodswallows low in the evenings?

cheers
Richard

[canberrabirds] White-browed Woodswallows at Wamboin

A flock of about 60 at lunchtime today over our home at Wamboin,
swirling around in the awful wind.
