Yes surely that should be the position.  Bruce should lay out the whole
catalogue if he wants.  I wonder if David could give a ruling to remove any
doubt.  The rule should be, I suggest, 'No commercial advertising except on
behalf of COG or with the permission of the list manager'   g

For what it's worth, I think that advertising for COG is entirely 
different from private advertising. I don't think any of us would resent 
the odd 'Message from our Sponsor'!
