Using my memory of the locus of Chateau McDonald, and having pinned the hacienda at El Rancho Carwoola, the attached image courtesy of Google Earth, in conjunction with the BoM description of NWly winds, reinforces the possibility that it was David's flock of woodswallows that turned up near our place. The image is 27Kb.
