I have checked my home account and also logged onto the grapevine server but
cannot see the message anywhere. It must be a problem with the canberrabirds
server.

I'm afraid I have no explanation as to why this has happened.

David McDonald or David Cook, can you please stop this from happening?

Anthony

I am not sure what has happened with you email about coastal birds and
whether you can now stop the process, but I have so far received over 20
copies of it. Even allowing for the fact that, for some bizarre reason, I am
still getting two copies of each message, there's obviously something amiss
here.

I don't know if you can work out what is amiss, but if you can and can halt
the tide it would be useful!

Stephen

Julian and others

Any colour banding sighting can be reported to the Australian Bird and Bat
Banding Scheme at HYPERLINK ""
Please give species, colours observed (including
which leg they are on), date and location.

A high res pic or other pics of the same bird would be useful in determining
the colours. To me the low res Caspian Tern pic looks like orange on the
right.

Often, a single colour band on one leg may indicate a cohort or banding
location rather than an individual.

Cheers
Anthony

I meant to point out the bands on one of the Caspian Terns as Suzi
mentioned, a yellow band on the right leg and a metal or grey band on
the left. Is such limited info useful to anyone?

Julian
