Thanks for the list.
I just completed it and now I have 800 ticks.
Now I feel really endorsed ... doh!

cheers
Richard

ps no offence intended, a lot of work there, however my reality is a little different.

For example while plugging in my 06/07 GBS data I noticed that Noisy Friarbirds had returned 1st week in Aug last year. Has any one seen them in ACT yet this season?

[canberrabirds] personal record keeping

Dear All
I have received some useful suggestions from COGers about keeping lists that may be useful to others who like myself have been somewhat recalcitrant about personal bird data collection.
I have kept lists in note books but really it is no good if you can't query the lists easily.
1. Anthony Overs sent me a spreadsheet to begin a simple tick list. see attachment
2. I followed up on the BirdInfo suggestion from  Alistair Smith and below is a copy of the email returned to me from Simon Bennett. I believe it was Simon who gave a workshop for COG some time ago. The system seemed very good to me at the time.

BirdInfo is not available at the moment due to licensing issues with new Clements list. This should be sorted out in November-December also when new Christidis and Boles list is due.

Dear Simon

Is BirdInfo still available?
