Richard et al. emails reminded me. I went walking with a friend at the Pinnacle (Hawker) on Sunday afternoon. We hit a giant MFF (mixed feeding flock), including a fuscous honeyeater, silvereyes (both Tassie and normal), thornbills, pardalotes, heaps of weebills, fantails, pair of scarlet robins, golden whistlers, 2 tree creepers (one came within 1m- female). Later on in stringybark forest also saw a pair of rainbow lorikeets, another scarlet robin female, golden whistlers, and 4 varied sittellas which after flying around and feeding enthusiastically, snuggled together, they were so cute. My friend was impressed, but I had to tell her it wasn’t normally this good. Also a lot of seeding
wallaby grass, wire grass, some red grass, and
