I spent a fair bit of today riding around parts of Canberra, largely concluding that birds - especially smaller ones - don't like cool, overcast days with strong winds.  However on swinging back along the S shore of East Basin I did get a decent photo of the albinistic coot and some friends.
 
Out at El Rancho Carwoola Gang-gangs have been happening.  They are finding something to munch on (very noisily) in the Euc macrorhyncha and in the evening arrrive in a group of 6 (usually) to a maximum of 10 in the biggest yellow box in our yard before drinking and bathing in a fish pond.
