Dear subscribers, in response to Julian's, John's and Con's requests,
Barbara Allan from the Rarities Panel and Records Management Team has
offered to draw up some "instructions" which I will present briefly for the
first time at next week's COG meeting. It is intended that, following their
acceptance, these will be posted on the COG web site.
As the person responsible for triggering these requests, I trust this will be a good outcome. Part of the motivation for including it in my what to watch out for this month column this week was witnessing how valuable these COG records and our database are in relation to State of the Environment reporting etc. Jack Holland |
