Counted yesterday (22 April) waterbirds on the ponds, notable (at least for me) was the high proportion of Australasian Grebes (AG), making up almost a third of the small grebes (63 AG versus 139 Hoary-headed Grebes), in the past I had seen there only a few AGs. But I recall a fairly recent message to the chat line also reporting good numbers of AGs, certainly something different.
 
Also a total of 26 Blue-billed Ducks and 5 Cattle Egrets at Kelly'sl
