Further to Geoffrey Dabb's recommendations for sending photos to the list in a 
size that
suits all email servers and systems.
Go to Google home page click on MORE go to PICASA and down load the free 
program or go to
http://picasa.google.com/. Picasa 2 is a free software program for filing, 
sorting,
editing and enhancing digital photos. It is very easy to use and has an 
automatic email
facility, which sends emails via your normal email program. The file will be 
sent as a
suitably reduced jpeg file, which can be viewed directly from the receivers 
inbox at a
size where the full photo is seen on the your monitor (without the need to 
scroll).
I find that it is better to delete the references to Picasa in the body of the 
email and
to change the wording in the email subject field as the standard picasa wording 
seems to
upset some spam filters.
