While the juv cuckoo identifiers are in practice, can anyone identify
this one? Seen in Callum Brae on Sunday. May not be enough
photographic info but it was in a White-plumed Honeyeater's nest being
fed by an indefatigable and to my eye smaller host. I do have
another pic showing the host feeding this giant chick, but the good bits
are obscured by branch, and posting both would stretch list
patience. Notice size of bird vs size of nest. Julian |
