On my quarterly survey at Callum Brae this am I found a group of at least 20 White-browed Woodswallows.  They were feeding on the ground and hang-feeding in foliage, none in the air.  As they were at a spot where I’ve had them nesting in 3 previous years, there is a good chance they’ll nest this year.  If they do, they don’t muck around.  The usual pattern is for up to 5 pairs to start nesting and the rest to move on.

 

Also heard Western Gerygone and Peaceful Dove.
