Yesterday a single Superb Parrot by a dam in the southern end of Goorooyarroo Reserve and 3 Painted Button-quails over the saddle between Mt Ainslie and Mt Majura. A cyclist rode past as I stopped to see the threesome. I watched them quietly for about 10 minutes as all three made their circular scrapes (all in view at once throught he binos) as if dancing together. It was quite amazing to watch as it was the first time I had ever observed this species' behaviour.

Cheers
Marnix
