Hi,There are 2 types of feral deer that might be encountered around this district. Fallow deer are the most likely to be seen and are small, a bit bigger than a goat. Samba deer are the size of a yearling beast (cow). The thing about deer is that you don't get a second look. You were doing very well to get a first look, they are secretive animals. Graeme Clifton |
