They've been around for several years, so they are surviving on something.
Probably lerps and nectar available on something somewhere in the area. I
haven't actually observed them feeding, however they are frequently seen in
the eucalypts around the Hawker shops.
I reckon they are most likely escapees that have now bred somewhere in the area. Anthony |
