Agree with Anthony.I walk to work (Belconnen town centre) from Hawker about three times a week, and on my walking birdlist, Rainbow Lorikeets appear about 40% of the time. Always in Hawker, always in small groups (around six). Don't know the origin of these birds, but have previously seen Rainbows in Belconnen town centre itself and occasionally in Cook when I lived there...
