A pair of WBSE soaring above the area where Jerrabomberra Creek enters LBG
this afternoon.

Also sighted what appeared to be a fairly large breeding box on a Willow
branch about a metre above the water on the Causeway side of the creek,
maybe 200 metres before the cycle path bridge crosses it.  It had the number
"5" painted on it and looked as if it had been there for a while.  I guess
it would be bird related but does anyone have any history of its purpose,
why/when it was put there etc.  I have paddled in this vicinity before but
never seen it because it has been hidden by the vegetation (now absent).
