Narooma - 24/25 April

We are just back from 2 days in the
Narooma area on the South Coast. Some highlights below:

Wagonga Scenic Drive
1 Striated Heron, 1 Crescent Honeyeater

Trunketabella Wetland
1 LP Cormorant (on nest), 37 R Spoonbill,
8 WF Heron, 1 WN Heron, 4 B Swan, 17 P Swamphen, 5 Pelican, 1 G Egret,
2 Hardhead, 15 Shoveler, 2 A Grebe, 2 HH Grebe, 60 Black Duck, 13 Ch &
Grey Teal, 6 SN Ibis, 2 C Egret, 1 Whistling Kite, 1 Sw Harrier

Wagonga Inlet & Narooma Harbour
2 GT Tattler, 8 P Oystercatcher, 2 S
Oystercatcher, 8 DB Plover, 2 Caspian Tern, 2 Reef Egret, 1 L Egret, 22
Barwits, 20 Pelican, 5 W Ibis, 1 WF Heron, 3 B Swan (strangely close to
sea by harbour heads in saltwater)

Clyde Mountain (Monga NP)
2 Crescent Honeyeater

Moruya Heads North
1 Whimbrel

(2m span), 2 Southern Eagle Ray (1.5m span), 3 juv Black-spot Goatfish,
Mado,1 Blue Damsel, juv Keyhole Angelfish, One-spot Puller, 1 Common Stinkfish,
3 unknown Leatherjacket sp.
