Marnix,  Stick with your first assessment. I assume you are talking about the sewage ponds adjacent to the Molonglo River and in the old abbatiors paddocks.  If so, they are in the ACT.  The fence on the Northern/Western side of the Queanbeyan to Cooma railway line is the border.  Thanks for the tip, I'll be down to check this this one out in the next few days.   Graeme
