Interesting episode this morning. A female Stain Bowerbird and an immature bird were feeding in our Hughes garden. The female (bigger, more olive), was occasionally feeding the immature (slimmer, more grey), though it was feeding by itself too. Food taken included olives from an olive tree, galls from an acacia, caterpillars from shrubs and invertebrates from the ground. They stayed about half and hour.
