Hi,
I went out to Mulligans Flat today for a very short bird watch to follow up Marnix's report of the Little Friarbirds. On Gundaroo Road just before the car park I found 6+ Superb Parrots with Eastern Rosellas in the trees over the road and in nearby fields. A flock of six Superb Parrots also flew over while I was only 200 metres into my walk at Mulligans Flat. Not sure if they were the same birds. Just before the interpretive sign I found a group of Little Friarbirds along with Weebill, Brown-headed Honeyeater, Sacred Kingfisher and Black-faced Cuckoo-shrike. On the way out I saw two more Superb Parrots flying along the road near the car park.
Nick
