“Forms in … “ –
music to my ears! Yes Long-billed Corella still on the unusuals list but I
suspect not for much longer. So we had koels in Page and O’Connor last
Sat am (possibly the same bird?), and another(?) in Chapman on Sat. Any other
Saturday records folks? The Page bird keeps returning to a loquat tree in a
laneway – if you have a loquat fruiting nearby, might be worth keeping an
eye on. b

Koel
One in Hackett late last week, and
possibly the same bird in O’Connor on Saturday morning. Also
another male being pursued by a currawong in Chapman also on the Saturday.
Forms in for all these sightings.
Also, are Long-billed Corellas still on
COG’s list of unusual birds? Single very obliging individual in
Narrabundah on 26th Nov.

Aha, so that’s where he got to
(probably). Called in Page on and off from 3.48am-7:30am. Any later
hearings/sightings? b
