I had a window on Sunday for some birding so decided to drive out to Murrumbateman along the back roads. Conditions were warm and windy. Highlights were breeding (total birds: 4+) Superb Parrots (a female poking its head from out of a hollow before disappearing again) at one site along Dog Trap Road. Another group (2m, 1f) seen at Potts Hill. And a Pied Butcherbird at Merryville TSR by Murrumbateman. Many Rufous Songlarks also seen/heard.
