Alternatively you could go up the Jarramlee Homestead road at Dunlop. In the wooded paddock just outside the homestead gate this morning there were rufous songlarks, rainbow bee-eaters, white-winged trillers (see attached), diamond firetails, dusky woodswallows, grey shrike thrushes (nestbuilding) as well as the usual wrens, white-plumed honeyeaters, black-faced cuckoo shrikes, rosellas, goldfinches, crested pigeons, thornbills and passing magpie-larks and magpies. Beautiful morning for it!

Very easy to find, just park in the little spot at the end of Kathner St, move along the horse trail to the dam (<100 m) and their calling and behaviour should be very obvious.
