Alternatively you could go up the Jarramlee Homestead road at Dunlop. In
the wooded paddock just outside the homestead gate this morning there were
rufous songlarks, rainbow bee-eaters, white-winged trillers (see attached),
diamond firetails, dusky woodswallows, grey shrike thrushes (nestbuilding)
as well as the usual wrens, white-plumed honeyeaters, black-faced cuckoo
shrikes, rosellas, goldfinches, crested pigeons, thornbills and passing
magpie-larks and magpies. Beautiful morning for it!
