Although not as exciting as Ian Fraser's trip to South Africa, I will be heading to Tasmania in a weeks time. As it will be my first trip down there I hope to see all of the endemics within a week of travelling. Can anyone give me advice on where best to see the Forty-spotted Pardalote on 'mainland' Tasmania close to Hobart? I know of only one fairly reliable spot so far and that is at Kingston. Any info welcome. Please send replies to me privately.
