Two semi-professional photographers are coming from the UK in October. They have limited time and are looking among other things for 'fed bird' opportunities. I have been asked specifically about the following:

a) A place north of Cairns where cassowaries are fed. Where is this and do the cassowaries appear reliably?

b) Binna-burra, Lamington plateau (apparently O'Reilly's is booked out at the time by a conference). Does B-b have visually well-behaved fed birds like O'Reilly's?

I don't know about either and would be grateful for any advice to pass to the enquirers. Advice on anywhere else along the lines indicated would no doubt be welcome. Geoffrey
