Yesterday afternooon I observed the first of the honeyeater migration at Quailrise, Hoskinstown. It was a warm afternoon with little wind.
We saw about 150 HE's in 30 minutes. They were heading south-west between 2:30 and 3:00. I identified only Yellow Faced HE.
Again today I saw, travelling in the same direction, about 100 YFHE in a half hour watch at 12:30 -1:00 pm.
