It may be or may not be a local breeding record. It
is the same issue as all those dy King Parrots recorded in the GBS, when the
actual nesting occurred off-site and the dy follow the parents after leaving the
nest (see comments of a few months back). Mt Majura is not all that far from NSW
and the breeding could have occurred in NSW (although I expect it probably is
local). Also as the identity of the species is not the issue, is the Rarities
Panel of any relevance?
