Half an hour ago I watched a pigeon flying stridently towards my office in
Civic. It flew past less than 20m away and had I very good views of an all
white pigeon with black trailing edges to its wings and tail. Its legs were
dark in colour too. Had I been in Darwin I would not have hesitated with a
sighting of a Pied Imperial Pigeon, but here in Canberra?
