We intend to go camping at Wadbilliga NP (east of Cooma) this coming long weekend, probably camping at Cascades Camp Ground. There seems to be limited info on the web, particularly on walks. We have checked out the animal data from the NSW wildlife atlas (http://wildlifeatlas.nationalparks.nsw.gov.au), which has only 84 bird species of the rumoured 122 recorded in the park. Does anyone have a full birdlist, or any other info that might be useful? We are particularly interested in nocturnal birds - the list includes Powerful, Masked and Sooty Owls (have mapped the sightings from the wildlife atlas since 1980), as well as S.Boobook, T.Frogmouth and Owlet-Nightjar, so hot-spots would be appreciated.

Please reply directly to me, or to the list if you feel it would be of general interest.

Thanks

David & Kathy Cook
