Since early December, YTBCs have been seen again
over Chapman, though always in small numbers, and, surprisingly, quite
often not calling as they fly slowly along. Max has been 7, the only time
with dy, though this month it's usually been just a pair. In February I've
also seen up to 15 or so at the start of the Cotter Rd nr Yarralumla.
While living there last summer, numbers were definitely much lower than in
spring or autumn, despite the considerable numbers of available pine trees.
