They (Yellow-tailed Black-Cockatoos) are regularly around central and western Fyshwick although I have not had big numbers like the exceptional 500 present there several months ago, for several months. I'd say groups of about five to ten are the usual now. I have had at least one flying over my house (Kambah) most days over the past two weeks (usually heard but only seen once).
