In the northern part of town, Watson that is, small groups of YTBCs (2-6) have been quite a common sighting almost daily. I haven't kept a regular record effort but have intermittent records at least since early winter (2004).

so do we have an influx of post-breeding birds from further afield?

Anyone else notice more YTBCs around recently?

There have been three or four Yellowtail Blacks hanging around Hawker/Scullin for the last week.   Saw also 4 corellas yesterday.

Referring to Anthony’s message we had 13 birds fly over us at Holt heading in the direction of Scullin yesterday evening.
