'Gallid' not there?! You might need more books. Could you find 'Triffid':
it could be somewhere near that. Do you seriously expect that if the
current trend continues people will say to one another: "There's a chicken
crossing the road, and oh look there goes a quail, a fellow-member of the
Order Galliformes (fowl-like birds), and what a coincidence there's a
Guineafowl, yet another member of the Order Galliformes (fowl-like birds)
following closely after it ...'
