This am: I was quietly loitering at the
'wash at about 0730 when along came Martyn Moffat, already into the second
hundred for his ACT 2005 list and climbing. He went up towards the gorge
and came back to report a distant view of a falcon-like but untickable shape
in a tree up where the 'wort-spraying was going on. I myself saw nothing
exceptional but was pleased to see that the bee-eaters were again giving free
flying lessons to deserving arthropods.
