Sun 9 Mar White-necked Heron Kellys Swamp & Jerrabomberra Wetlands, Fyshwick
Three birds perched on wires near the Hospice ponds this morning. Digiscoped photo attached.

Black Kite Gungahlin Drive [near Ginninderra Drive overpass]
Single bird observed at 13.45, flying in direction of Black Mountain. Medium sized bird of prey, longish tail with distinctive fork.

Sat 8 Mar Pink Robin Warks Road
While watching a Crested Shrike-tit, a single immature female Pink Robin was observed in dense vegetation along the southern side of Warks Road. Description of sighting in eBird (link below). While trying to relocate the bird an Olive Whistler was also observed.

Thu 6 Mar Restless Flycatcher Campbell Park and environs
An immature male plumage Restless Flycatcher was near the Horse Gate in Campbell Park this evening. I have not seen this locally declining species at this location this century!

Wed 5 Mar Spotted Harrier Point Hut Crossing
Single bird observed flying low over river approx. 150m north of the crossing

Tue 4 Mar Black Falcon Kellys Swamp & Jerrabomberra Wetlands, Fyshwick
Single bird at the hospice corner of the wetlands, 10.30am. Presumably same bird as seen a few days ago. Flew past then perched on dead tree giving clear view of bird. Also single adult Sea Eagle.
