Fri 28 Feb Black Falcon Kellys Swamp & Jerrabomberra Wetlands, Fyshwick
A female Black Falcon was present over the thistle sanctuary at Jerrabomberra Wetlands today between 13:38 and 13:42. It was attacking the flocks of Eurasian Starlings and Feral Pigeons.

Wed 26 Feb Painted Button-quail Goorooyarroo Nature Reserve
Two, in woodland in the central section of the reserve, just north of Old Joe Hill along a well-vegetated creek line east of the main road. Many platelets in the area, also lots of pig damage (not recent).

Sun 23 Feb Painted Honeyeater Mulligans Flat Nature Reserve, Gungahlin
Heard the 'see-sue' call of a Painted Honeyeater amongst a large group of Honeyeaters, I was unable to locate and see the bird. Heard along the boundary fence on Old Coach Rd.
