Two birds observed foraging along the river bank close to mangroves during wader survey. Birds were on the western bank of the river close to the Mt Larcom Rd bridge at the bottom of the tide.

We see White-headed Pigeons from time to time usually in pairs, but this morning, after not sighting any for a couple of years, a group of 14 arrived and cleaned out a small feeder that's usually enjoyed by a family of Pale-headed Rosellas and the odd Crimson Rosella.

A single Spangled Drongo was seen by Darren Fiedler and myself along Handley Street, Toowoomba. Hopefully, its presence is indicative of what is to come. (Still no chanel-billed cuckoos.)

Turquoise Parrot, Crested Shrike-Tit, Diamond Firetail and White-Browed Babbler
Old Wallangarra Road and Hicking Lane, Wyberba (near Girraween National Park)
4 Turquoise Parrot, pair of Crested Shrike-Tit, a lone Diamond Firetail, group of White-Browed Babbler, stacks of Brown Treecreeper and a great mix of other species near the corner of Old Wallangarra Road and Hicking Lane, Wyberba. All seen in an approx 3/4 km stretch of Old Wallangarra Road, except the Diamond Firetail which was a short distance up the lane. Turks were feeding under the thickish cover of tea-trees(?) on the left hand side of Old Wallangarra Road (heading in the direction Wallangarra) close to the lane.

4 vocal Chestnut-Rumped Heathwren at the Junction on Bald Rock Creek, Girraween National Park. In low scrub amongst the rocks at the edge of the track, approximately 50 m past the national park sign that identifies? some of the wildlife in the area.
