Sun 9 Sep Comb-crested Jacana Moggill Wetland
A pair of Comb-crested Jacanas have arrived at this little wetland. Also present - White-necked Heron, 2 Rufous Night-herons and a Wedge-tailed Eagle (overhead)

Sat 8 Sep White-browed Wood Swallow Anstead
A flock of approx 10 birds high overhead heading west believed to be this species.

White-browed Woodswallow, Masked Woodswallow Little Oakey Creek, Lockyer Valley
Huge flock of more than 1500 White-browed Woodswallows settling in trees and taking flight downhill from Toowoomba Escarpment. Despite scanning intensively only 4 or 5 Masked Woodswallow were seen amongst the flock.

Rather an unexpected parrot to see in SE Qld, paused briefly on our Grevilleas before heading south.

the pair of Cotton Pygmy-Goose are stil on the western side of the Lagoon, to the south of the observation deck, a bit more active than 2 weeks ago

Not too regular this far up the hill, no doubt many good things moving through the place ATM
