Interesting! I actually do things a bit differently and actually remove the 
exif data before I send out copies or put images online. Effectively leaving me 
as the only person with the exif/original information (my "negative" in a 
sense). My thinking is I will have more info to prove the image is mine.

Dear B-A,

I have been following the "what value a photo" with interest. One thing that 
has not been mentioned, is that if your name is not on or in an image, it is 
difficult to identify the work as being yours. 

It is important that you identify your digital images by naming yourself as 
photographer and copyright holder in the EXIF data of your images. Sure EXIF 
data can be stripped, but most people who "borrow" images usually overlook it 
and it remains as a nice digital thumb-print on your images.

For those who have not set up their EXIF, and would like to know how, it is in 
the manual.
