Published sightings for the week ending 26 Jun 2011.

Sat 25 Jun Black-chinned Honeyeater Private Residence, Gawler East
Black-chinned Honeyeater (1) (Update) Single bird still present, returning late this afternoon to same Eucalypt in neighbouring yard as originally reported. Since first reporting this bird I have also heard/seen it in the same tree on four occasions, including today. Seems to be sticking around , feeding and calling loudly.

Fri 24 Jun Crested Shrike-tit St Hallett Winery, Tanunda
Pair high up in canopy of plantation eucalypts, calling constantly for around half an hour.

Australasian Shoveler, Pink-eared Duck, Hardhead, Blue-billed Duck, Musk Duck Tanunda Sewage Ponds
Australasian Shoveler (2) flying over and looking for a place to land, circled a dozen or so times. Appeared to be m/f pair (given difference in colouring) clear views of bright orange legs/feet, large/broad-tipped bills on both birds Pink-eared Duck (17) possibly more Hardhead (22) possibly more, in ponds in both fenced and unfenced area Blue-billed Duck (1) on most easterly pond, unfenced area Musk Duck (1) female bird, diving often and associating loosley with Hardhead
